Maria combines a strong academic foundation with hands-on experience to bring thoughtful, functional, and beautifully tailored spaces to life. A graduate of Mount Royal University with a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (CIDA accredited), she has also begun a Master’s program in Architecture - deepening her understanding of spatial design from both artistic and structural perspectives.
Her professional journey includes working alongside some of Calgary’s most respected renovation companies, where she has developed a keen sense for balancing aesthetics with real-life practicality. Maria’s design philosophy places function above form; she believes that truly great interiors must first serve the people who live and work in them.
Her strength lies in truly listening - taking the time to understand each client’s lifestyle, needs, and vision before translating it into a thoughtful design.

From collaborating with architects to coordinating directly with contractors, Maria is deeply involved in every stage of a project. Her combined knowledge of design theory and construction logistics makes her a valuable asset on any team and ensures that her designs are not only beautiful but also feasible and enduring.
Outside of her design work, Maria expresses her creativity through music. A talented singer-songwriter, she composes and performs her own original pieces, which are beginning to earn well-deserved recognition both online and in live performances. Lavi brings a rare blend of artistic intuition and technical expertise to every project she touches.
From a young age,her gift for color was undeniable - her art school teachers recognized her as a naturally born colorist, someone who doesn’t just understand color but feels it deeply. This instinctive sense of harmony and balance is reflected in her design work, where every space becomes a thoughtful composition of color, texture, and light.
Her formal education spans both Europe and Canada,with a degree in Interior Design from a renowned European design university and a complementary certification from Mount Royal University in Calgary. She also has a strong background in painting, graphics, and visual storytelling, which further enriches her approach to design.
In addition to her interior design work, Lavinia is a prolific fine artist and photographer. Her personal artwork, which can be explored at www.laviart.ca, reveals her deep connection to beauty, detail, and emotional resonance.

Ana is a natural-born colorist whose intuitive sense of harmony and aesthetics brings a unique energy to the Hombient team. Although her professional background is rooted in technology - holding a degree in Computer Science and building a successful career in the IT field - Ana has always maintained a deep connection to the world of art and design.
At Hombient, she beautifully balances logic and creativity. With her strong analytical skills and calm presence, she thrives in customer relations and project management roles. At the same time, her artistic instincts shine through in her role as a color consultant, where she helps clients find palettes that feel both personal and inspiring. Ana’s understanding of color goes beyond theory - it's an emotional language she speaks fluently.
Raised in a creative environment, Ana often helped her parents with design projects growing up and has nurtured a lifelong passion for painting. Today, her life flows gracefully between digital innovation and traditional art - between artificial intelligence tools and delicate watercolor canvases.
